Angela Godfrey

Angela Godfrey is a sculptor working in stone, wood, stainless steel and cast aluminium and bronze and has considerable experience of working to commission.
Much of my sculpture is site specific, commissioned by architects, local authorities and other clients and includes works for a country park, nature reserves, an Essex riverside, an arts centre, a medical centre and for new and re-ordered churches in the UK and Ireland. I make drawings from nature and the forms in my sculpture evolve from this study, often combining with text, the meaning of the words dictating the form of the sculpture.
